Pictures
JPEG, PNG or WebP. They are resized in your browser before upload, so a phone photo doesn’t eat your storage.
Digital signage for restaurants and every other business
Upload pictures and videos, put them in playlists and decide when each one plays. ScreenQ sends changes to your TVs within seconds and shows you which ones are on.
No password and no card. Sign up with your email; we review each request and set up your organization.
On the TV: open s.screenq.tv in its browser to pair it.
Sign up with your email (no password: we send a link or a 6-digit code) and tell us about your business. Once we approve it, your organization is ready.
Open s.screenq.tv in the TV’s browser. It shows a code and a QR code. Scan it, or type the code into the console.
Upload pictures and videos, or write a text slide. Put them in a playlist and give the screen that playlist.
The screen runs the playlist on a loop and keeps going until you change it. Every change you save is sent to it.
Playlists
This is the playlist editor, cut down. Change the text slide, switch items off and save: the screen gets the new playlist the way a real one does, pushed the moment you save.
Playing “Window offers”, 4 items.
Pairing
Nobody types an email or a password on a remote. The TV shows a code; you scan it with your phone, say where the screen is and what it plays, and it starts. It stays paired through power cuts and restarts.
Enter the code on the TV and say where it is. It joins Northside Store.
s.screenq.tv and shows a code that lasts fifteen minutes.Schedules
Rules give a location or a single screen a playlist by weekday, time of day and date range. A screen’s own rule beats its location’s, and where rules overlap, the higher priority wins. The TV works its schedule out itself, so 11:00 switches at 11:00 even if the internet is down.
Wed 12:00: Lunch menu, from the location’s rule Mon–Fri, 11:00–14:30.
Screens
Every screen reports in. The console shows which are online, what each one is playing and when an offline one was last seen, across every location. If one stays offline for 15 minutes, owners and admins get an email, and another when it comes back.
Content and screens
Mix them in one playlist. Each screen can be landscape or portrait, either way up, and picks one of 12 transitions between items.
JPEG, PNG or WebP. They are resized in your browser before upload, so a phone photo doesn’t eat your storage.
H.264 MP4, up to 100 MB each on the Starter plan. Each one plays to the end. HEVC and AV1 files aren’t accepted.
A heading and a message for announcements and offers. Six colour presets or your own, aligned left, centre or right.
The time, date and local weather for the screen’s location, with high and low, humidity, rain chance and wind.
Hang the TV on its side and set the screen to portrait: the player rotates itself, so you don’t need a TV that supports it. Pick a rotation to see it.
There is nothing to install. Open s.screenq.tv on a smart TV, an Android TV stick or a small PC
plugged into the screen. The player is built for TV browsers that are years behind a laptop’s, back to
Chromium 63.
TV browsers vary, so try yours first: s.screenq.tv/tv-check
tests what the player needs and reports anything missing.
A ScreenQ app for Android TV sticks and boxes is planned. It opens the same player and adds what a browser can’t do: screenshots of what is on screen, and restarting the app from the console.
Who it’s for
The same console and the same rules, whatever is on the wall.
Locations and teams
An organization holds your locations, and every screen belongs to one, which sets its time zone and its weather. With team access switched on for your organization, invite people by email and give each a role. Run more than one business? Switch between organizations from the same sign-in.
Pricing
New organizations start on Starter. Paid plans and billing aren’t part of ScreenQ yet, so there is no card to enter.
FAQ
Sign up with your email and tell us the name of your business. We look at every request before an organization is set up; once yours is approved you are its owner and can add locations and screens straight away.
Anything that can open a web page full screen: many smart TVs, Android TV sticks and boxes, or a small PC plugged into the screen. The player is built for older TV browsers, back to Chromium 63, but TV browsers vary, so open s.screenq.tv/tv-check on yours before you rely on it.
No. You manage everything in the console in your own browser, and the TV opens s.screenq.tv. A ScreenQ app for Android TV devices is planned; it will add screenshots and remote restarts.
The screen keeps playing what it already has, and it works out its own schedule, so timed changes still happen. Anything you changed in the meantime reaches it when it is back online.
Pictures (JPEG, PNG, WebP), H.264 MP4 videos, text slides with a heading and a message, and a clock with the local weather. Videos in HEVC or AV1 are not accepted; export them as H.264 MP4.
New organizations start on the Starter plan: 3 screens, 200 MB of storage and files up to 100 MB. Billing is not part of ScreenQ yet, so there is nothing to pay and no card to enter.
Yes, once team access is switched on for your organization; say so when you request access. Then invite them by email as an owner, admin, editor or viewer. Editors can change media, playlists and schedules without being able to add screens or manage the team.
No. You sign in with a link or a 6-digit code sent to your email. A paired TV never signs in at all: it keeps its pairing until you remove it.
Request access with your email. Once your organization is set up, open s.screenq.tv on the TV and type in the code.
